From the Master of Ministry to the Doctorate of Theology, ATS offers the premier distance education graduate programs in the world today. With six majors and nine emphases, there is something for everyone. From Hebrew and Greek to practical counseling and ministry courses to the study of theology and doctrine, the programs offered are both complete and attractive. Although the programs vary greatly in their course offerings, all programs are built upon a strong biblical foundation and require devoted study to God's word.

Currently all programs excepting the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) are offered in a 30 semester hour format. These programs usually take students approximately one year above the Bachelor program to complete. The Master of Divinity is offered in two different emphases: Pastoral Leadership, a practical program that expands upon the Master of Ministry course offerings, and Biblical Languages, the premier Master level program offered by ATS and the strongest foundation for advanced degree work. The Pastoral Leadership (M.Div.) emphasis is 60 semester hours above the Bachelor program and usually takes students two years to complete the program. The Biblical Languages (M.Div.) emphasis is 90 semester hours above the Bachelor program and usually requires students three years to complete the program.

The Doctor programs also currently are offered primarily in a 30 semester hour format, requiring approximately one year for students to complete the program. ATS has begun development of additional program formats for new programs to be offered in the near future. These programs will include 36 and 60 semester hour formats for select majors and emphases. The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) currently rank as the two most popular programs at this level. Both are outstanding terminating degrees for all pastors and Christian leaders.
